Developed as a high-flow replacement for the restrictive factory header, the Zerra system features carefully formed stainless-steel pipework and internally finished transitions for a smoother, less obstructed path from the cylinder heads to the exhaust system.
Unlike the original header, where protruding factory welds can reduce the effective port diameter and disturb exhaust flow, the Zerra header uses clean, precisely finished inlet transitions to minimize turbulence and restriction.
The original header also uses internal insulation around the O₂ sensor area. This material can deteriorate or move over time, potentially interfering with sensor readings and contributing to fault codes. The Zerra header eliminates this internal insulation arrangement and uses dedicated O₂ sensor ports for a cleaner, more reliable installation.

The Zerra Performance Exhaust Headers are designed for riders who want a better-engineered replacement for the factory component, whether the ATV is standard or equipped with a complete performance exhaust system.
For maximum performance, ECU calibration is recommended depending on the complete exhaust configuration and other engine modifications.

Engine tuning
When upgrading to a performance exhaust system, ECU calibration is mandatory. Any exhaust produced by Zerra Performance must be used together with a proper ECU remap or a compatible EFI tuning device to ensure the engine operates within safe parameters.
Running the engine without the correct adjustments can create an excessively lean mixture, increasing the risk of internal damage. Always configure your fuel management system according to the tuner manufacturer’s specifications to maintain an optimal air-fuel ratio.
Operating a Zerra Performance exhaust without appropriate tuning will automatically cancel the product warranty, and any engine-related problems caused by improper calibration will not qualify for warranty coverage.

Do I need EFI tuning?
We recommend using an aftermarket fuel tuner with our exhaust systems to keep the engine from running too lean and to get the maximum performance from your machine.
